Rose's pirate outfit, chillin' in pool and hammock and boating at Henley-on-Thames. It doesn't get much better than this.
Comments:Grandma Daesene: The photo visit with all 4 of you is very special to me here in heat drenched Texas.
Great Aunt Mary enjoyed the photos as wellAdd a comment:

We loved digging in the coffee-coloured sand and wading in the water. This beach was frequented by Daddy when he was a boy.
Comments:Grandma Daesene: How very special - some time playing in the sand
Looks like a good time was had by all.Add a comment:

A terrific blizzard, a visit from an Austin legend and Peter walking... all at once. Wonders never cease.

After a trouble-free first term, the festive yet chaotic school play brought Rose to tears. Christmas itself passed relatively peacefully at home. What a relief! Herewith pictures of the day, including a wonderful walk we took on the Common before opening our presents. Happy New Year, everybody.
Comments:Grandma Daesene: Did I make a mistake, assuming you were at Hemingfold? when in fact you were on the Common?
Thanks Mary for keeping me posted on all these doings of my dearly beloved British relatives!Add a comment:

Comments:Robyn L. Graf: Hi Mary.
Congratulations on the wedding. I always enjoy looking at your page. Your photos are always so beautiful. I'm not sure who the photographer in your family is, but they are great. I'm glad to hear that you are doing well.
Love,

Rose has started nursery school. She likes her big girl's backpack. Peter's crawling and saying 'uh-oh' and 'da-da', having mastered 'mum' some months ago...
